The 75th Year of the Philippines Yearbook Honors Familial Generations

The launch of the Philippines Yearbook 2012 was a significant milestone, as it ushered in their diamond celebration in grand style.  Publisher and editor-in-chief Vernon Go says: “Seventy-five is a big number/ Not quite three digits, but in human years, this figure pretty much represents a full lifetime, and is appropriately awarded the distinction of being a “diamond” year; thus, we celebrate this cycle of life with 75 gigantic family portraits representing three generations of life, and more importantly the bedrock of Philippine society – family. We have turned the generational publication my grandfather Dr. Jimmy Go Puan Seng started in 1936 on its side and bound it as a landscape book to afford a panoramic canvas for our photographer Tom Epperson to work with.”

The Philippines Yearbook 2012 was a sure draw for enthusiasts, as V.I.P.‘s from all over Metro Manila and Cebu packed the Top of the Diamond Hotel for this grand event.  Cheers to Gracie and Vernon!
