PASEO UNO’S “TASTES OF THAILAND”

Mandarin Oriental, Manila’s Paseo Uno sizzled with its recent celebration of “Tastes of Thailand”. With its focus on classic preparations and ingredients, renowned Thai master and celebrity TV culinary show host Sumet Sumpachanyanont of the legendary Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, was Guest Chef.  The event marked the fifth time that Mandarin Oriental, Manila hosted the Thai Food Festival, and the second time the 42 year old Executive Sous Chef and culinary ambassador of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s famed Thai restaurant, Sala Rim Naaam, was featured.

To set the mood, the Paseo Uno depicted Thai ambience. On hand was Mandarin Oriental, Manila’s General Manager Mark Bradford greeting with a handshake and a smile, Guest of Honor Dra. Elenita Binay, Thai Airways Country Manager-Philippines Sern Chupikulchai and his demure wife Priyanuch, with District Sales Manager Malu Duenas and Armi Mayoralgo, Tourism Authority of Thailand Philippines Representative Dave de Jesus and associate Celia Atendido.
