One glimpse at the theme of the 12th<\/sup> Manila\u2019s Best Dressed Gala Awards Night says it all. \u00a0\u201cGlamour and Elegance with a Heart\u201d was a salute to the awardees\u2019 outstanding leadership and contribution to society. \u00a0The event was held recently at the Grand Ballroom of the Dusit Thani Hotel.\u00a0 Honorary Chairman MBD Woman of Style 2010 awardee, Olga Severino Martel said in her speech: \u201cBeauty is not in the face alone; beauty is a light in the heart.\u201d Most notably, Consul of Gambia Agnes Huibonhoa, a multi talented entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist received the MBD Woman of Substance 2011 award. The MBD Woman of Style 2011 was awarded to Virginia Lane, who looked radiant in a luminescent goddess gown by Jeanne Goulbourn,\u00a0 Publisher Babe Romualddez received the \u2018Man of Style\u2019 2011 Award.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a fine event for a fine cause – the BayaniJuan sa Calauan, which builds a better tomorrow with their relocation center for displaced dwellers from the Estero de Paco and scholars of the Romblon State University. Having their moment of \u00a0glory\u00a0 were best dressed awardees:\u00a0 Marivic Madrigal Vazquez,\u00a0 Katrina Ponce Enrile, Dr. Aivee Teo and Dr. Z Chen Teo,\u00a0 Cong.
