Trust Rene V. Puno to draw the smart set to his 57th<\/sup> birthday bash. His devoted wife Ann, together with children Renee, Yago, and Luis were all on hand to celebrate the moment. Rene is the managing law partner of Zulueta, Puno and Associates (ZPA), and his approachability and sincerity have earned him loyal friends in the diplomatic, political, business and social world. <\/strong><\/p>\n

An eclectic mix of guests mingled in the fun-filled dining room of his cozy home. There was Consul Helen Ong, with demure daughter Marian; Qatar Airways Country Manager Abdullah Okasha; ZPA lawyers, Attys. Tony Zulueta, Deo Marco, Cres Mayor and Miguel Herrera; People Asia magazine Editor-in-Chief Joanne Rae Ramirez with hubby, media and advertising executive Ed Ramirez;\u00a0 Zee Lifestyle\u2019s Eva Gullas,\u00a0 columnist Donnie Ramirez, Joe and Vicky Zubiri, trendy socialites Marivic Vazquez, Mayenne Carmona, Jojo Zabarte, and famed couturiers Ito Curata and Lulu Tan Gan. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Top chef Neil Ramos prepared a succulent leg of lamb and turkey, and fine wines and bubbly accompanied the Mediterranean menu. There\u2019s nothing nicer than the old clich\u00e9 of freshly baked homemade desserts, which were decadently made by Ann herself.
