Having been be\u00adstowed the title of \u201cPho\u00adtographer to the Faaabu\u00adlous\u201d by no less than The Washington Post<\/em>, Rupert Jacinto <\/strong>proves his creative mettle and unerring feel for composition and captur\u00ading the moment through his lens. Honed through decades of doing portraits, his skill and sensibility con\u00adtinue to produce \u201cFaaabv\u00adlous\u201d exhibits that have impact. His forthcoming exhibit, slated in Novem\u00adber, is a celebration of the 10th an\u00adniversary of Faaabvlous. Rupert couldn\u2019t be happier, as his eventful oeuvre, Faaabvlous <\/em>has maintained a devoted following and amassed an impressive roster of subjects, a testi\u00admony to his artistic journey and aes\u00adthetic art. A must-attend milestone, the Faaabvlous <\/em>series is a collection of confident, empowered, and stylish women and men. Photographing his subjects of the past, today, and tomor\u00adrow has earned him critical praise.<\/p>\n

With support from Volvo, Oze\u00adki Sake, Titania Wine Cellar, and Liq\u00aduid Gold, the Faaabvlous <\/em>10th Anni\u00adversary \u201cFab Gala\u201d will play around the theme of haute couture in black, white, and gold at the photo exhibit to be held from Nov. 12 to 24 at the Grand Ballroom lobby of the Marriott Ho\u00adtel. The guests of hon\u00ador are Mayor Francisco \u2018Isko\u2019 Domagoso<\/strong>, Ambas\u00adsador Nicolas Galey <\/strong>of France, Ambassador Gior\u00adgio Guglielmino <\/strong>of Italy, Ambassador Koji Haneda <\/strong>of Japan, National Art\u00adist Ryan Cayabyab<\/strong>, Presidential spokes\u00adperson Salvador Pan\u00adelo<\/strong>, and \u201cFaaabvlous <\/em>of Heart Icons\u201d Consul Mel\u00adlie Ablaza<\/strong>, Menchude las Alas Con\u00adcepcion<\/strong>, Virginia Lane<\/strong>, and Teresita Tambunting Liboro<\/strong>. The \u201cFaaaabv\u00adlous of Spirit\u201d subjects include Con\u00adsul Fortune Ledesma<\/strong>, Conchi\u00adtina Bernardo<\/strong>, Mayenne Carmo\u00adna<\/strong>, Grace Glory Go<\/strong>, Frannie Jacin\u00adto<\/strong>, Pilina Rocha<\/strong>, Marivic Vazquez, Becky Garcia, <\/strong>and Dee Zobel<\/strong>. Their photographs of yesteryears will also be on display.<\/p>\n

The event is co-presented with Marriott Manila and in partner\u00adship with the Advertising Founda\u00adtion of the Philippines, in support of the Ako and Saklay Drug Rehabilita\u00adtion Program in Nueva Ecija. This year\u2019s roster of \u201cFaaabvlous Wom\u00aden:\u201d Juliet Arambulo <\/strong>M.D., Ceci\u00adle Baron Asprec<\/strong>, Judith Bar\u00adran<\/strong>, Camella Cragun<\/strong>, Aiza Diu\u00adco<\/strong>, Joyce Dizon<\/strong>, Lani Fragante<\/strong>, M.D., Darlene Go<\/strong>, Jean Marquez <\/strong>M.D., Johanna Santos-Ocampo <\/strong>M.D., Robina Ko Tan<\/strong>, and Vivian Yano<\/strong>. The \u201cFaaabvlous Men of Distinc\u00adtion\u201d are National Artist Ryan Cayab\u00adyab, Ambassador Giorgio Guglielmino, Presidential spokesperson Sal Pan\u00adelo, David Ackerman<\/strong>, Robert Blan\u00adcaflor<\/strong>, Dean Charles Decker<\/strong>, Mario de Rivera, Norman Dreo, Ernesto Olympia <\/strong>M.D., and Paul San Pedro<\/strong>. \u201cForever Faaabvlous\u201d are former subjects who include Mayor Fran\u00adcisco \u2018Isko\u2019Domagoso and AA Pata\u00adwaran<\/strong>, Mache Ackerman<\/strong>, Anna\u00adbelle Adriano<\/strong>, Eni Alba<\/strong>, Danda Bu\u00adhain<\/strong>, Marivic Burgos<\/strong>, Lina Castil\u00adlo<\/strong>, Kitty Doll<\/strong>, Nanette Feliciano<\/strong>, Jac\u00adqueline Michelle Lim<\/strong>, Ching Oreta <\/strong>M.D., Ruby Pacis<\/strong>, Engr.
