Lifestyle Asia\u2019s associate publisher and deputy editor Cheryl Tiu proudly mentioned in her speech, that the first and oldest glossy magazine in the country has continued to be a market leader for the fifth straight year. In celebration of their 25th<\/sup> Anniversary, a \u201cBlack Swan\u201d Gala dinner was held at the ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la, attended by society notables. <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Editor in Chief Anna Sobrepena, looking resplendent in a Cary Santiago creation, explained that the black swan was a metaphor – a rare event with far reaching effects long after it has transpired; and rare, not only for its 25th year milestone, but also for the fact that the occasion had brought out very private individuals who rarely attend social functions. The evening\u2019s proceedings included President Sari Yap announcing their new name: One Mega Group; and Chairman Jerry Tiu awarding glass plaques, designed by Impy Pilapil, to Lifestyle Asia\u2019s 25 top advertisers. <\/strong><\/p>\n
