Red Cross Ball – Michael Cinco Show, 2011

THE ‘RED CHARITY GALA’ WITH

INTERNATIONAL FASHION DESIGNER MICHAEL CINCO

The high princess of edgy fashion Tessa Prieto Valdes and the elegant Kaye Tinga represent an emerging generation of women who invigorates the passion for charity giving.  The dynamic duo spearheaded the recent ‘Red Charity Gala’, which raised funds for the Philippine Red Cross and the Assumption High School Batch 1981 Foundation.  Held at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la Hotel, this annual event gathered Manila’s big names, with an auction and the debut presentation of international Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco. The versatile artist showcased a dazzling 40-piece collection of luxurious and glamorous wear.  Auction stars Tim Yap and Tessa had generated a good amount of cash for the charities that evening.

Michael Cinco had honed his craft at the prestigious Central Saint Martin’s School of Art and Design in London in 2002. Recently, he wowed Tyra Banks and Andre Leon Talley of ‘America’s Next Top Model’, with his sensational masterpieces, and had designed the outfit of Paris Hilton, for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.  He has been nominated ‘Breakthrough Designer’ in the prestigious WGSN Global Fashion Awards which will be held next month at the Gotham Hall in New York.

Major supporters were Megaworld, in cooperation with Audi, PGA Cars, PLDT-Smart Foundation, Smart Infinity and Etihad Airways. Other sponsors were: Fila, HSBC, Pond’s Resorts World, Sun Life Financial, Makati Shangri-la, Preview and stylebible.ph
