With its global expansion, Tadashi Shoji recently celebrated the opening of the Tadashi premier boutique in Manila, at the Galerie on the second level of Rustan’s Makati. The 80-square-meter boutique is stark white with crystal chandeliers. Racks of luxury evening wear and cocktail dresses line the walls, with Tadashi’s show-stoppers displayed in stunning showcases. He extends his capabilities by introducing his children’s wear, shapewear, and evening bags.

Holding its 2018 fall/winter collection at his first-ever store opening in Manila more than attests to this, for the designer clothing brand blended sophistication with modernity using the finest of materials. With glitter, embroideries, knits, fringes, laces, tulles, peony prints, jeweled velvet clutches—it was an ethereal return to old world glamour, which defines this stylish brand.
