The homey concept of a birthday celebration with family, friends and associates was orchestrated by amiable Ann for her boyish-looking and cool husband Rene. This yearly bash was comprised of friends from the business and finance sector, the legal profession, and the fashion and visual arts industry.
Guests feasted on scrumptious buffet complete with lechon but the piece de resistance of the evening were the hard to resist cakes of Ann; among them, the pineapple upside down cake, natilla and tapioca with mangoes.
While sipping wine, we chatted with the chic Allure editor Joanne Rae Ramirez, her husband Ed, and Rellie and Mel Liwag. Joanne gabbed about the recent “Men that Matter” event. Vivacious Rellie Liwag on the other hand, was gushing over her recent solo painting exhibit at the Philippine Center in New York, which was
opened by revered New Yorker Loida Lewis. Her dashing banker husband Mel, who used to be a Pitoy Moreno model, mentioned that their Jacinto family portrait proudly hangs in their new condo at the Fort.
