PHILIPPINE TATLER CELEBRATES AT RED

Philippine Tatler never fails to give an occasion a special flair, with its reputation for excellence and glamour. Recently, media icon Irene Martel Francisco, publisher of the prestigious glossy magazine, together with Anton San Diego, Editor-in-Chief and Mia Borromeo, Editor-at-Large,  hosted the James Suckling Guide to the best Bordeaux Wines in 2010, held at RED in Shangri-la Makati.

A highly respected authority on wines,  Suckling is the Regional Wine Editor of the Tatler Group. The A-list crowd appreciated the special Chateau Siran 2003, from Edouard Mialhe’s luxury vineyard, Wine Story.  The Bordeaux wines added umph to the sumptuous Peking duck menu, specially prepared by the Shangri-la chefs.

Major partners for this exclusive event were VISA led by Country Manager Ian Jameson;  Sony, led by Sony Philippines President Takao Kuroda and Wine Story, led by Romy Sia.  Visa highlighted its ultra exclusive by-invitation-only Visa Infinite Card while Sony unveiled its exciting new computer, the luxurious PC VAIO Z.
